I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and lived there until 1986 when a job transfer brought my family to Texas. It did not take long for my husband and I to fall in love with the beautiful hill country of central Texas and we settled in Austin where we have raised our 3 children. I have been involved in numerous community, church and school activities and organizations. We are active members of Bethany Lutheran church in south Austin.
My background in the communication field has given me over 25 years of experience in sales and service. I have had the opportunity to develop some excellent skills for negotiating. I can bring you the best deal whether you are buying or selling your home. I am a licensed REALTOR®. With my background and knowledge of Austin I will be your information resource and an advisor that you can count on.

DeeDee Skidmore, REALTOR
I was born in Austin and have lived in various cities throughout Texas during my childhood. I attended Texas State University in San Marcos and received a BBA in Accounting. After graduation, I was offered a job in Austin and happily accepted the opportunity to be back in this beautiful city. I have two wonderful children, a brave son-in-law who just returned from Iraq August 2011 and a beautiful granddaughter.
After several years of accounting, finance and customer support experience, I decided to make a career change. I became a licensed REALTOR® in 2004. With my accounting background and knowledge of Austin, I believe I am a valuable resource for real estate clients.
