Meridian is located next to Grey Rock golf course (formerly Circle C golf course) in Southwest Austin just off Mopac/SH45. Construction in this heavily treed area began in 2006 and is still being developed. Builders include Wilshire, David Weekley, Standard Pacific, Newmark, and Meritage. These homes range in size from around 1800 sq ft to over 5000 sq ft.
A new elementary school, Baldwin Elementary, opened in the Meridian subdivision in the Fall of 2010.
Meridian Amenities
The Meridian Homeowners’ Association (HOA) is mandatory for residents and is managed by Goodwin Management. Amenities include a community pool, a covered pavilion area, and a play-scape for the children.
Meridian Recreation
Just beside Meridian, you can enjoy a game of golf at Grey Rock Golf Club. Grey Rock is a ‘hybrid’ golf facility that allows both members and non-members.
If you enjoy rollerblading and bicycling, the Veloway is nearby. The Veloway is a 3.1 mile paved trail that is used exclusively for rollerblading and bicycling.
If you enjoy nature, the Lady Bird Wildflower Center is also nearby. Here you will see thousands of Central Texas native wildflowers and plants.
